In 2015, a West Point sweater that once belonged to legendary former Army Football coach Vince Lombardi was found in a thrift shop and later sold at an auction for $43,000. Upon seeing the sweater in the news, I immediately thought to myself, "how come no one sells cool sweaters like that anymore?"
Rather than wait for someone else to take action, I decided to make it happen myself. After going through the lengthy license approval process and finding the right manufacturer that meets my high quality expectations, I am finally happy to announce that I can officially share the Lombardi Sweater with the Long Gray Line.
The sweater fit is form fitting so if you are in between sizes, we recommend going with the next size up (~5% of past orders requested size exchanges, all of which were for a larger size and none requested refunds).
Material is 100% cotton.
